A children's sushi-making class can be a fun and educational experience for kids of all ages. Sushi is a traditional Japanese dish that typically consists of rice, seaweed, and a variety of fresh seafood and vegetables. In a sushi-making class, children can learn about different types of sushi, how to prepare the ingredients, and how to create different shapes and designs.
During the class, children will learn how to make sushi rice, how to slice vegetables and seafood, and how to roll sushi using a bamboo mat. They will also learn about the different types of sushi, such as maki (rolls), nigiri (hand-pressed sushi), and the most popular sushi California rolls.

We make quite a lot so they can eat some with us as well as they can take home.
Terms & Conditions
By booking everyone who attends:
- Payment for classes must be made online in full using online paying by a debit or credit card.
- Full refunds are only available for cancellations made 14 days before the class date and no refunds are given after that.
- Rescheduling must be done at least 7 days before the booked class; otherwise, it will be treated as a cancellation and deemed non-refundable.
- Cancellations must be communicated in writing via email to thesuzuhouse@gmail.com, and responses will align with the cancellation terms stated. Other forms of cancellation will not be accepted.
- Group bookings like a birthday have a minimum person requirement; failure to meet this may result in charges.
- If unwell, you can send someone in your place.
- Individuals with recent vomiting or diarrhoea illnesses cannot attend to prevent the spread of illness through food.
- Admission may be denied if suspected of illness, inappropriate behaviour, or under the influence.
- You are responsible for personal property, injuries, or damages incurred during food preparation, except for cases of negligence.
- Our liability is limited to the total price of booked sessions/classes, except for personal injury or death caused by negligence.
- We may cancel or reschedule courses/classes if necessary.
- In case of course cancellation, we offer rescheduling or a full refund, not covering third-party costs.
- Lesson content and recipes may change without notice.
- By agreeing to the terms, you allow photography and filming for marketing purposes.
- By agreeing to the terms, you consent to receive marketing emails from The Cooking School.
